Monday - God's Faithfulness

"God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." 1 Corinthians 1:9 (NLT)

"Just think—you don't need a thing, you've got it all! All God's gifts are right in front of you as you wait expectantly for our Master Jesus to arrive on the scene for the Finale. And not only that, but God himself is right alongside to keep you steady and on track until things are all wrapped up by Jesus. God, who got you started in this spiritual adventure, shares with us the life of his Son and our Master Jesus. He will never give up on you. Never forget that."
1 Corinthians 1:7-9 (MSG)

Paul emphasizes that God’s power for salvation is through His Son, Jesus Christ, and not by any knowledge or understanding of humans. God is faithful. He is beside us to strengthen and guide us on our journey of faith. He will never give up on us.

A family member was hospitalized this past week. It has been a very difficult experience. I felt God’s presence because many things happened in ways that couldn’t otherwise be explained. Whatever I am going through, I have learned to look for these happenings because they remind me that God is right beside me. It strengthens my faith and helps me find peace amid difficult times. Having friends and family praying for me and with me bring God even closer during stressful times. I know God will never give up on me in good times and bad times because He never has. He is faithful. I don’t forget that when life goes wrong. I praise and thank Him for His faithfulness!

Judy,
Thank you again for your obedience to God and for getting this blog up and running. The topics God has given you to share with us are timely and meaningful. Faithfulness..What does God's faithfulness mean to me. Wow, I could right a book! God's faithfulness to me is so undeserved and comes without condition. I firmly believe that God claimed me at my Baptism and although I was an infant, that claim of Christ pursued me throughout my life, until finally I stopped and accepted it.

Life has changed dramatically since His faithfulness to me caused me to believe in Him. There are many other instances of His faithfulness in my life and I guess I should write that book as a testimony.

Blessing my friend...I am praying for you
