Looking back, I am remembering times when I tossed and turned at night. I would rehearse every scenario that might come out of some stressful happening in my life. Frequently I would get up and sit in another room. Things rarely happened as the worries shaped them. Experiencing times that were tough, hindsight would show me making it through with power, peace and changes in me for the better. God’s gifts unrecognized. I don’t know when things changed except at some point I became aware of God’s presence in my life. It is my faith that holds the trust that brings me peace. My faith isn’t perfect. Sometimes I am weak. Sometimes I want to take charge and trust my own power. The Lord turns me around reminding me to trust Him; that He is the source of my peace.
