Praying in Faith Brings Peace

"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." (Philippians 4:5,6 The Message)

Personal peace comes through faith. Peace is freedom from worry, fear and overwhelming thoughts. Peace is a sense of contentment. Sometimes peace comes beyond all understanding, into difficult situations. I pray that the discussion this week has helped you gain knowledge and recognition of the peace that comes from God because of your faith.

Post your comments.
Pray, thanking God for His gift of love, joy, and peace.
Pray, if you feel things getting in the way of your receiving and/or giving God's love, joy or peace; ask for God's help and direction.
