Hi Judy,
I never looked at this verse for it's face value before, but as I get older and my physical body wastes away, I am encouraged that inwardly God is still working and nurturing me. I do feel renewed day by day. Great thought to start the week with as I go to my first Weight Watchers weigh in for 2009
Judy, I feel the same about getting older and things changing and getting harder physically. I am encouraged by my inward feeling of energy and a cheerful heart. I do feel renewed day after day and trouble by trouble. Though my body is slower, inside I feel like the energizer bunny. That is not of me. I know that is God still at work within me encouraging me to keep growing in faith and hope. It is awesome to be in His care!
